GARDEN ROUTE - Interlude in Knysna Self Catering ChaletThings to do and see on the Garden RouteThe Garden Route has much to offer visitors to our area. If you head out east on the N2 you can spend a day at the Elephant Park, laze on the beach at Plettenberg Bay or have a meal at one of the many restaurants overlooking the bay. On the road to Plett is Monkeyland where you can walk among these playful little creatures. For the more adventurous, there are the tree top tours in the Tsitsikamma Forest and bungi jumping off the Storms river bridge. For the surfers, Jeffrey’s and St Francis Bay, a world renowned hangout for the surfer dudes, is a 2 hours drive on the N2 from Knysna. If you head west on the N2 you will be able to enjoy the Scarab Market at Sedgefield or enjoy a lovely walk on the beach at the Wilderness. Mossel Bay also has much to offer including the Marine Museum and lovely restaurants on the beach.
